SaveAs ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome extension handles information.

1. No Data Collection

SaveAs is built with a "privacy-by-design" philosophy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, or the images you process.

2. 100% Local Processing

All image conversions, cropping, and formatting happen locally on your computer using your browser's internal engine (Canvas API). Your images are never uploaded to a server, and they never leave your device during the conversion process.

3. No Tracking or Analytics

SaveAs does not use any tracking pixels, cookies, or analytics services (like Google Analytics). We have no way of knowing who uses the extension or what images are being saved.

4. Use of Permissions

SaveAs requests the following permissions only to provide its core functionality:

• Context Menus: To add the "Save image as..." options to your right-click menu.
• Storage: To save your preferred settings (like JPG quality) locally in your browser.
• Downloads: To save the converted image file to your computer.
• Host Permissions (<all_urls>): To access image data on various websites so it can be converted. This data is processed in real-time and is never stored or shared.

5. Third-Party Websites

Our extension works on third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, as we do not control their data collection practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
